In CVD risk factor box:
  • "Physical inactivity" is sometimes described in the way of "lack of exercise";
  • "Obesity" is expressed in the way of "overweight";
  • "Unhealthy diet" includes alcohol, caffeine; high fat, salt, cholesterol, et al;

  • In the CVD disease box:
  • "Coronary Heart Disease" also expressed as "Coronary Artery Disease", includes "Ischemic heart disease", "angina pectoris" and "myocardial infarction".
  • "Heart Failure", often called "Congestive Heart Failure", is when the heart can't keep up with its workload.
  • "Inflammatory Heart Disease", more commonly referred to as myocarditis, is an inflammatory condition that affects the heart. Heart Infections include "Myocarditis", "Endocarditis" and "Pericarditis".
  • "Arrhythmia", means irregular heartbeat or abnormal heart rhythm. A heart attack or other condition that damages the heart's electrical system also can cause arrhythmias. e.g. high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, heart failure, an overactive or underactive thyroid gland, and rheumatic heart disease, et al.
  • "Cardiomyopathy": The three types of cardiomyopathy are, "Dilated cardiomyopathy", "Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy" and "Restrictive cardiomyopathy".
  • "Aneurysm" Mainly aortic aneurysm and the most common location of an aneurysm is the aorta, which carries oxygenated blood from the heart to the body.
  • "Congenital heart disease" is equal to "Congenital heart defects".
